RANGITOTO COLLEGE ENGLISH BLOCK

​Senior Scaffold was chosen by Focus Construction to provide the scaffolding with a temporary roof on Rangitoto College English Block in early 2017.

​

The whole roof of English Block consist of more than 8 sections with different shapes and heights, and is in the high wind zones. Roof replacement means minimal supports were allowed on the roof. In the meantime, we need to make sure sufficient counterweights in place to hold the roof structure. This is our most challenging project by far. Thanks to our highly experienced team, we were able to solve these issues with some brilliant designs.

• Nearly 200 aluminium trusses at different lengths used in the temporary roof.

• Temporary roof was over 1500 m².

• Multiple loading platforms for new roof delivery.

• Multiple access stairs provide easy access.
